Old Bisbee Roasters Highlight: Tanzania Mbeya Peaberry

I've been getting e-mails from Old Bisbee Roasters for years.  I figured it was about to time to start promoting them.

It is my hope to start promoting some of the smaller privately-owned or lesser-known/popular coffee roasters in our Country.  So many good ones out there!

Get out past your local Starbucks or what's on your grocery store shelves.  Buying online and from private roasters gets you a much better product and a larger variety.  Let's look at what Old Bisbee Roasters is highlighting today in their e-mail:

Tanzania Peaberry from Mbeya

Tanzania Peaberry from Mbeya is one of the classic coffee offerings you can't find easily.

It is a captivating gem.  Being a peaberry coffee makes this one a tiny bit spicier and more complex.  Peaberry coffee makes up only about 5% of a coffee harvest. It's ridiculously good!

Aoma: Sweet, Creamy, Chocolate
Cup: Bold, Slight Citrus in the Front, Creamy Chocolate Caramel Candy
Finish: Lingering and Earthy, Orange Zest, Hint of Spice

It is sourced from family-owned farms organized around the Iyela factory located in the Mbeya region, Tanzania.  The lowest and highest elevations in all of Africa, the floor of Lake Tanganyika (352 meters below sea level), and Mount Kilimanjaro (5,895 meters above sea level) are both located in Tanzania.  This coffee growing region is south of these extreme landmarks, formed on the slopes of Mount Rungwe.  The rounder shaped peaberry, formed from the maturation of one seed per cherry rather than the typical two seeds, is meticulously sorted during the milling process for its distinct flavor profiles.

Remember, Seth Appell (Old Bisbee's Roaster) believes in delivering genuinely warm service and a stunning product.  Orders of two pounds, or more, of freshly roasted coffee will SHIP FREE, and coffee orders received by Noon Arizona time will be roasted to order and shipped while still warm, all on the same day.  If, for any reason, you're not 100% satisfied with your coffee, they will replace your order or refund the cost of your coffee without question.

If you are interested in visiting Old Bisbee's website or joining their coffee club, please click here.  And, if you refer any of your friends to Old Bisbee's, they will credit your account $5!  (Please mention this blog if you click through our site and place an order.)

This company sounds like a win-win for everyone!  I can't wait to try them.

Cheers!
