**FREE** Coffee at Disneyland?

This article is pretty old by now, but the OC Register claims you can get **FREE** coffee at Disneyland?

Wanna know how?  Here's what they say:

"Did you know that you can get free refills on coffee at Disneyland?
Since 1955, Main Street‘s Market House has given free refills on coffee.  Purchase a cup of coffee (regular, decaf, vanilla, or hazelnut) for $2.59 and save your receipt.
There’s no need to keep the cup. Just bring back the receipt and enjoy free refills all day.
At other food venues, visitors can get free refills only as long as they are continuing to dine at the location, said David Gill, a Disneyland Resort spokesman. They can’t come back later for free refills. That’s a unique deal at Market House only.
Market House sells mostly standard coffee."
Hmmm...didn't know this.  But glad to hear it!  Wish there was a place at Disney World like this...

Starbucks Meets Disney

I would be remiss, as a true Disney fan, if I didn't write about the Starbucks-Disney partnership that happened this Spring.

These two corporate giants came together (at long last) to provide Disney theme park guests with the coffee they'd always desired.  Here is what the official Disney Parks Blog had to say about the subject on April 23:
"Today, we’re excited to officially announce plans to bring your favorite Starbucks drinks and food items to all of our theme parks at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort.
In June, the first of six planned Starbucks locations is scheduled to open at Disney California Adventure park. And more locations are planned at Disneyland park and Walt Disney World Resort (Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom).
The Starbucks locations inside our parks will be designed to fit the theme of their surroundings. At Disney California Adventure park, Starbucks will be located in the Fiddler, Fifer and Practical Café on Buena Vista Street, a place that transports guests to 1920s Los Angeles, when Walt Disney arrived in California and a cup of coffee was the perfect way to jumpstart a busy day. The store’s location plays off the Spanish/Mexican architecture of the period, and baristas will wear 1920s-inspired attire.
The café will serve Starbucks items, including coffee and espresso beverages, Frappuccino® blended beverages, and signature breakfast sandwiches and pastries. Guests also will have their choice of Disney favorites, including signature sandwiches and other items, as well as delicious desserts and sweet treats."
I know I am excited.  Finally, the best of both worlds....

*Special thanks to The Disney Blog.

So many reactions to my last photo of Walt with coffee, I decided to post a second.  Thank you Jeni for the heads up on this picture.

*Did you know this espresso machine is still in service at Disneyland?  Click the link for the backstory.

I can't think of a better way to begin this new blog... (The Plaza Inn, circa 1966).
